GS not sure that is why he slowed down actually i am not able to prove it either ways but my spin on it is that … he had some doubts about if he could beat Asafa to it and he really wanted the 3 gold medals the 4 x 100and the 200m was basically a sure bet … but there was some amount of doubt in his mind that he would beat Asafa …. so when he glanced to his right and didnot see asafa or anyone for that matter he knew right there and then that he had won his very first gold medal and he became over whelmed with joy and just lost it …..

He's the fastest man on the face of the earth (to be recorded, at least)
He can do w/e he fucking wants.
The dude made the 9.69, if he didn't slow down it would probably be a 9.4, 9.3, somewhere around there, pfft, he knows he can do better but geesh, the more he breaks the record the more money he makes. He's got the world on a string.

P.S.: The girls should try going under ten, would be soooo cool
