Happy Independence Day Jamaica.
Am i late for the party? No Wait, Still 5 hours left of it. The definition of Independence is “The capacity to manage one’s own affairs, make one’s own judgments, and provide for oneself.” Well, we certainly are doing a horrible job at that.
To be frank, things are a mess in Jamaica, but let’s not dwell on the negatives of our country, I’ve had enough of it already, let’s pretend as if; as Bob Marley would say “Every little thing is gonna be alright”, but Bob, did you forget about the big things? Shouldn’t’ we worry about the big things also? We seemed to have been overlooking all the Big things lately, but alas! Every little thing is going to be alright.

Agree and agree. Jamaica not doing so well at this “independence” thing…tis truly sad as we have only ourselves to blame. And not being one to dwell on the negative…we really have to get our “S…T” together!
i am aware of the problems but I am convinced they can be solved. It's up to all of us as Jamaicans to do our part to contribute to the betterment of our blessed island home. I hate the ppl who sit on the outside and talk shit but they themselves are doing nothing that contributes to a better Jamaica.

I was away last weekend (holiday here in Canada) so I never got to write my post on it. Even when I got back I was so swamped, and still am.
