Bruce Golding: A Member for each year, You Fucker
Jamaica/Politics September 21st, 2007Lol, awesome title right^^^, Orette is dissapointing me already, i mean come on…18 Cabinet Members, sheesh and he was the one complaining about Sista Dumb P’s Cabinet, his is even larger. I hope he knows what he’s doing, because if he doesn’t well in layman terms, he’s F.U.C.K.E.D. I was reading in the paper recently that it seems as if Bruce has a Cabinet member for each year the JLP was out of power, 18 years….18 members, it seems as if he’s giving all of his good friends “a buss”, oh well, we’ll see how this unfolds

I think that “18 members for 18 years” thing is just a co-incidence. Give the man a chance instead of wishing for his downfall.

Lol, coincidence my ass, but why complain about the past cabinet saying it was too big and in the end yours is bigger?

Tra la la la la la la la……………….NUFF SAID! You see Leon and Gordon….oonu too young…..age will bring you some wisdom…..weh yuh seh Bobby?

Here is my problem…when I look at these oldsters….relics of the 80s….I am going to be watching to see if they really moved with the times. We live in a totally geo-political climate now and if you can’t ride with the waves then you will be sinking this country into a deep hole….take it from me…..You see all the free tuition? I want to see what it will achieve….my “Phinnish” prediction is that there will be no change in either attendance or results? Why? Because the school business have bigger issues more than just attending…sure anyone can attend but if the infrastructure is not in place to make the plant conducive for learning (teachers, equipment, sense of security and well being etc.) you can forget it!

Hehhee, so true and i have that problem at my school now, seriously how can i school be short on PAPER, geeez, and AGE does bring wisdom JG, but i’m pretty postive i’m well on my way

I want to ask you….who were the main supporters of the JLP in this election? Which category of people?? Just curious to hear what you say….
September 22nd, 2007 at 11:22 am
screw the other 17
Lady Lightbourne is my new boss over at MOJ….and she is worth every penny, I had 2 meetings with her this week and I am really impressed by her.
September 22nd, 2007 at 8:00 pm
@JG, i dunno really, who do you think?
September 23rd, 2007 at 12:20 am
Lady Lightbourne? lol…mout mek fi seh anything. I don’t know Gordon…who do you think? Could it be the youth voter and the very rich? See if you can then answer this….how come it’s these 2 groups?
September 23rd, 2007 at 8:44 am
Well the JLP were Aiming after the young people mainly, sway them and your good, because in the next 5 years they’ll still be on your side if you treat them well
September 23rd, 2007 at 11:39 am
…if you treat them well
….but how come the majority of the support didn’t come from the middle?
September 23rd, 2007 at 11:56 am
Because the majority of people are alright they have little or no problems, a change of government could threaten there way of living, so i guess they rather stick with the evil they know
September 23rd, 2007 at 12:11 pm
wrong..how about “been there done that”
September 23rd, 2007 at 12:49 pm
huh?
September 23rd, 2007 at 5:56 pm
Ok OK OK hold up ….Jampanese lady lightbourne is kool mek JG gwaan
Second i agree with you GS that his move towards 18 doesnot do much for his credibility. BUT and with a big but….. nobody is perfect and we all have to allow for error, mistake, the incorrectly spoken word(s) and all other similar things. That is what wisdom has taught me so on that basis i have to question his intention was this done with the best intentions. That my dear sir and Ma’am is the question…. for me time will tell.
thirdly i don’t agree with JG stats on where most of his support came from Kevin O’Brian did what i think was an excellent brreak down of the where i’ll try and find a link to his article if possible and post it here but at the end of the day. He is the Prime Minister and the only way this will work is if we support him…. if him start the almshouse then we run him whey…. but just give likkle time and mek wi see
September 23rd, 2007 at 6:45 pm
Bobby….Kevin O’Brian Chang is as non-partisan as Bruce is not a member of the JLP. I wouldn’t trust his stats on the basis that he is not a researcher nor does he know anything about methodology. He is a man who runs a pharamacy in Mandeville but reads a lot and is knowledgable in everything but statistical methodology. The only people I listen to are:
- Don Anderson - Reputable pollster
- Prof. Boxhill - Taken over the Stone Team methodology
- Bill Johnson - But only with a 1/4 teaspoon of salt based on his track record before coming here.
Not Chang…he is not a researcher, pollster etc. I have spent too many years doing research techniques and methodology, even to the advanced level to listen to someone like Chang. Also, the above pollsters pointed out that it was the youth who had never seen a JLP administration who were the ones who pulled through the victory. It is also obvious and evident that the moneyed class supported them as well.

ok JG …ma’am can live with that
September 24th, 2007 at 7:07 pm
